We're gearing up to returning to kitchen this Friday with our exciting new January menu celebrating what Raymond Blanc refers to as " The Quintessence of French family cuisine, it is the most celebrated dish in France. Moules Frites hold a very special place in our hearts, it's what we started out serving at La Petite Bouchée when we first started out. We had at least 4 or 5 different varieties on the menu each week and would serve them with a glass of wine and a dessert for £20.00 From January our ' Winner Winner Moules Frites Dinner' Will be available from just £25.00* Because we're also serving the 4 course menu each week too we'll only have two varieties available each week. Wow. We are still recovering from the most brilliant evening on Friday night, when we officially ‘launched’ La Petite Bouchée, in Witheridge, Devon. We invited a host of our local friends and neighbours, as well as some foodies and writers that we’ve met since moving here back in February. From local shop owners and B&B owners, to journalists and neighbours, they all came and together we glugged the beautiful bubbles that we’d chosen especially for the occasion. Most of all,
As you know, since moving to rural Mid Devon with our little French restaurant back at the end of February, it’s been incredibly busy whilst we’ve settled in to our new home, set up a supper club, sourced local suppliers, made friends with our neighbours and generally tried to make ourselves at home here in Witheridge. We always knew that we would have to get to work straight away in order to make a name for ourselves down here. People have been quick to tell us that it’s a d
We've been asked if we can flag up availability for May and so I thought the easiest way was to post here once a week. I know there have been problems with Open Table and so we've made the decision to just take bookings direct for the time being. It's easy to book, just simply ping us an email with your preferred date, the amount of people and any allergies and we'll try and accommodate you. for further information and housekeeping please click here for the 'How It Works' sec

I had no choice in the matter and waited with bated breath to see what he had ordered. The first thing that came out was a lovely surprise, a Bloody Mary, my favourit
Since moving to Devon, just two weeks ago, it’s been all systems go, trying to ensure that we can open our fabulous French restaurant as soon as possible. We have been overwhelmed by the brilliant people we’ve met so far – both online, and in person! We’ve been visiting local suppliers, getting to know the area and of course, sampling and tasting all the beautiful produce that Devon has to offer. We are delighted to announce that La Petite Bouchée and the all new La Petite Bo
We're gearing up for our residency at ALL INN ONE in Forest Hill and to say we're excited is an understatement ! I've spent this afternoon loading the fridge, taking in my go-to equipment and ensuring that i've ordered all the ingredients for tomorrow nights private party and service for the Saturday. We'd like to say a massive thanks to Richard and Julia. They called us less than 24 hours after the atrocities last November and generously offered us their kitchen this month.
