WELCOME TO OXTOBER


October is one of my favourite months of the year, it's really turning autumnal and so is our menu for this month. New on the menu we've got flavour-packed Ox Cheek Daube, slow cooked and so tender you can eat it with a spoon and our hearty Breton fish pie is brimming with seasonal fish and seafood and perfect for the chilly evenings. We also see the return of Steak Tartare and Shrimp Rillettes two big favourites from last year. For vegetarians and vegans this month we have Tapenade served with French Toast and a layered Leek Gratin, sheets of leek, layered with seasonal vegetables which have been slow-cooked in a rich tomato sauce. Don't forget, we have a selection of homemade ice creams including vegan and dairy free. We pride ourselves of creating food that is accessible to everyone. Simply ask when you book.

VILLAGE NIGHT

October 5th from 19:00, If you live in Witheridge or any of the neighbouring villages it's your opportunity to sample the new menu for just £20 for 3 courses.

MARDIS GRAS EVENT

Following on from the success of our Moroccan themed night last Friday we announced our next event - Mardis Gras on November 16th - It sold out in an hour and so we have extended it to all weekend now. There are just 8 covers left on Saturday 17th October so early booking is essential ! BOOK HERE


The C-Word

I hate to mention the C-word but there's very little space left on for our two special Christmas menu days on December 21st and 22nd for the weeks proceeding we'll be running a delicious seasonal Wintery menu. . The 22nd DECEMBER is fully booked and there are just 10 covers left on 21st. BOOK FOR CHRISTMAS MENU
