Happy New Year...

With two days to go and bright sunshine and blue skies this morning, I am already looking forward to the next decade. We've got lots going on in the first couple of months with Burns Night and Valentines both on the calendar and our third year involvement with the Exmoor Food Festival begins on February 1st. Look out for some special evenings during the festival where you can meet the suppliers and try new wines and learn how our butcher cuts your steak ! You can also look forward to other key dates in the first half of the year including a special Easter menu on April 19th & 20th together with our celebration dinner on the 8th May to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Victory in Europe . This year you'll see a lot of new dishes on the menus in the first quarter, you'll find more brasserie style food. Food we served in our first couple of years in London, we know you'll love it ! We'll be using the freshest of Devon's finest ingredients in our scratch kitchen and again growing as much of our own food as possible.

Here's just a quick reminder of 2019, a year of challenges and big wins here at La Petite Bouchée. Once again a massive thank you to everyone who came and dinned or supported us across our social media platforms.

We'll be flinging our doors open again with great gusto and welcoming our first footers on January 10th with Village Weekend stretching across to the 11th January.

It's time don your tam o'shanters and kilts and come and join us for one of fabulous Burns Night Parties. This will be the first one we've done in Devon and we're excited ! Dreaming up new whisky cocktails and trying to reinvent the square sossige. It's a cracking way to end January with a toast to the man himself as well addressing both the haggis' and if you loose you troosers then you must be called Donald !

We're very excited and super proud to be taking part in the 2020. Exmoor Food Festival. Now in its sixth year, restaurants and bistros and cafes come together to offer outstanding food at specially designed prices especially for the festival. Diners taking part in the Exmoor Food Festival can literally eat their ways across Exmoor for at a specially discounted rates. For more information about the EXMOOR FOOD FESTIVAL CLICK HERE

Hello you old romantic, why not treat the one you love to an sumptuous four course feast this Valentine's weekend. Dive into our deliciously unctuous baked camembert lightly perfumed with rosemary and black  garlic or enjoy our smoked and cured sharing platter. Life doesn't get any better than a perfectly melty steak or lobster and our petite croquembouche will make you weak at the knees... For the MENU CLICK HERE

We'll be saluting all the armed forces involved in VE DAY on May 8th with a very special dinner commemorating the 75th anniversary of peace in Europe. Whilst the country erupted into celebrations, many of our servicemen, women and animals remained in France. We'll be recreating a menu from one Parisian Menu from a celebration dinner on the 31 May 1945. We intend to have a party here befitting of such an auspicious occasion and urge you to book your place as soon as possible if you're coming. BOOK MAY 8th HERE

All that remains for us to do is wish you and your families and friends the most amazing 2020. We have its healthy, happy and filled with laughter and love. We'll see you next year!
