October and the C-word.

Well, we're still here and cooking away for a full restaurant and private dining room each week. We are so fortunate to have such a wonderfully loyal and supportive customer base also we've met so many new customers, happy to be out, feeling safe with us and enjoying some freshly cooked French Brasserie food with a Devon twist. We'd like to thank everyone for helping us by following all the latest government guidelines, I know its difficult remembering masks and track and trace but £10K is a massive fine for any hospitality business at the moment, so we really do appreciate all your efforts !


OCTOBER


There is limited availability in October so if you'd like to join us for Beef Wellington, Moules Frites, Bouride and Crème Caramel and more then here's the latest availability ( you can find the full menu HERE )

NOVEMBER


We are filling up for November as quickly as September and October so if you are considering eating with us and to avoid disappointment we'd advise an early booking. We've got a fabulous menu showcasing the best in local Devon produce. There are all the usual suspects plus Vacherin is back ! the ultimate in unctuous cheesy luxury a fondu for two then there's our delicious roasted stuffed pork loin stuffed with prunes soaked in cognac then served with a Madeira cream sauce. We've got delicious vegetarian( vegan ) Goulash with herbed dumplings and beautiful fresh Cornish Hake with punchy salsa verdi

DECEMBER


It's just incredible to think that December 2020 is not that far away and that we are coming to the end of the most extraordinary year that most of us have ever experienced in our lives. The rule of six means that its going to be difficult for families to get together. I know I will not see my beloved family this Christmas. I have steeled myself like so many of you too. We are going to make December at La Petite Bouchée as happy and joyful experience as possible this year. We are also going to keep it simple.


There will be only one menu for the entire month, it will be the same price, with the exception of those items with an additional supplement. If you are thinking about brining a larger party ( six) or more ( with exceptions - if you are in a bubble or you are a larger family living in the same place) then please consider booking ahead. We only have 12 covers in the restaurant and 6 covers in the dining room.


Our last day this year will December 19th and we'll return on January 8th 2021

We are currently thinking about one TOGO service in between but we'll keep you posted.


So without further ado, here is this years December menu. Hopefully something for everyone. We are of course happy to adapt dishes to suit individuals so long as you give us fair warning.
