8 hours ago we announced that La Petite Bouchée would be suspending service in the dining room with immediate effect. It's not a decision we took lightly, There has been a lot of tossing and turning in the past week. Finally the decision was made for us last night after the announcement from the government about social distancing. Within an hour 90% of bookings in our full book disappeared. It's rather sobering to be honest. Here's the official announcement which was posted across all of our social media platforms. We have received so much support.
So what next?
Next weekend we will officially launch La Petite Bouchée ( to go) a takeaway service from our HQ in Witheridge. We will be offering a different menu each week and providing a range of hot and cold ready to go meals As ever we will be offering meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan, dairy and gluten free options. We will be launching an ordering service on the website, you will be able to choose your meals in advance like La Petite Bouchée. The cut-off point will be midday on the day of ordering. We will operate Thursday-Saturday opening from 6-8pm. We will only be using our regular and very local suppliers. It is so important to us that we help the local economy and our suppliers at this challenging time. We will also be selling alcohol. Everything as ever will be made freshly from scratch on the day. We will be using a cashless pre-pay system and pick up will be in a controlled environment. We may roll out delivery according to demand as time goes on. Menus will be available online by the beginning of next week. To register your interest please email us at hello@lapetiteboucheebrasserie.co.uk There will be more information once I return to Devon tomorrow.
Thank you so much again for all of your kindness and support. Caroline & Anita-Clare
