Happy New Year !

Happy New Year !

We hope you've had a wonderful time celebrating the holidays with your family and friends?

We're gearing up to returning to kitchen this Friday with our exciting new January menu celebrating what Raymond Blanc refers to as " The Quintessence of French family cuisine, it is the most celebrated dish in France. It honours the tables of the rich and the poor alike"

It is of course Pot-Au-Feu which simply means Pot on the fire. Made with root vegetable and beef. We'll be serving up our version with beef short ribs and lots of delicious organic root veggies and fresh herbs. There will also be a vegetarian/vegan version all will be served up in keeping with tradition with homemade beer mustard, Cornichons and plenty of bread to mop up the juices. The picture below is of a traditional Pot-au-Feu, we'll be using short ribs.

January will also see the return of our Wood Fired Chickens. Smoked and then cooked on our wood pellet grill for maximum flavour. The chickens will come in two sizes, small for just the two of you or a slightly larger one for up to four. Just say when you book.

There is also Monkfish on the menu, wrapped in Bayonne ham and roasted off then served in a light saffron, vegetable and wine sauce.

If you are considering booking for January then there is still availability on the 12th & 19th, 2 covers on the 13th and the rest of January is FULLY BOOKED.
