At last the sunshine is here and this is reflected in this months menu. We're starting with charcuterie served with homemade pickles and there's Squid with Aioli and a spritz of lemon and one of our most popular vegetarian starters roasted shallot tart with truffle balsamic glaze. Our amuse this month is Champagne Sorbet, very refreshing and delightfully delicate

Headlining our mains this month is the Mighty cassoulet, with pork, duck and smoked sausage this legendary southern French dish is always a hit with guests.

For something lighter there's our delicate Torched Mackerel with freshly made Celeriac Remoulade. Fillets of Mackerel lightly soused and then cooked using a blow torch for that smokey rich flavour.

For vegetarians and vegans we'll be serving up our flavourful stuffed peppers brimming with the taste of fresh herbs coupled with the earthy tones of lentils. Served with a refreshingly light chive oil.

Our delicious salads are almost 100% home-grown by Linzi and Nigel in their greenhouse up the road and all the beautiful edible flowers are from their rather stunning garden.

Our mainstays of Steak Frites, Moules Frites still remain as popular as ever and in addition to these we also have the return of the wood fired chickens. We're able to serve chicken as individual half portions or to share, we'll even supply a carving knife. If you fancy a slightly more pimped up version of steak frites then why not order a lobster to go with it?

Desserts include Apple Tarte Tatin and Vanilla ice cream and our zesty and zingy Tarte aux Citron.

Following the huge success of our Greece On A Plate, our World On A Plate Tour heads off to Italy on 19th and 20th July. We'll be staying true to flavours using the wonderful Devon produce around us.
