September Newsletter

This year has positively galloped in comparison to 2020. Here we with September almost upon us. We've been incredibly busy since we reopened in May and September is already looking like its about to follow suit. So what's in store?

We've got two salads headlining our entrées this month, with our warm scallop salad making a very popular return to the menu. Our vegan/vegetarian version substitutes delicious marinated globe artichoke hearts. In complete contrast our mighty Steak Tatare is back with all the accompaniments and topped off with a delicious quails egg. We also have a fantastic Charcuterie board, with handmade charcuterie from the incredibly talented Marc Dennis at Duchy Charcuterie. For those looking for something a little lighter and more refreshing we've got a delightful Tomato and Basil Velouté, packed with flavour.

Our selection of Plats always include our stalwarts of steak and seafood and this month we've got the return of our ever popular Individual Beef Wellington, made with melt in the mouth filet steak from Shapland and Searle Another incredibly popular dish, Sole Meunière is back with freshly caught and filleted Lemon Sole, lightly coated in flour and pan fried with butter and capers. For our vegetarian and vegan customers this month we have a delicious Indonesian Yellow Curry and Jack Fruit Tagine, both packed with authentic flavours and ingredients. STOP PRESS: The Individual Beef Wellington can also be made vegan too !

Desserts are a classic Normandy Apple Tarte, All time favourite Crème Brûlée and Chocolate Mousse which can be made vegan on request.
